Taiwan’s Lifestyle and Culture Left a Strong Impression

  These years culture creative catch people’s attention, so called old wine in new bottle. Taiwan owns intrinsic culture, graduate from school most people do not have opportunity to touch historical culture. History usually bring people the impression of boring, but through reborn and package of culture and creative, make people feel interesting.

  Nostalgia is now all the rage. The early Taiwanese lifestyle, daily items, school life, architecture, toy and cookies refurbished by people, are buzzworthy.

  Each era’s school life has its own popular toy and trend, 70’s and 80’s has liquid paper, whiteout, drawing on bookbag to mini bookbag as a charm. From collecting laminated photo to App, from colorful candies to import candies, from hair limitation to permissive, from sock colour limitation to no limit, score minus one get corporal punishment, get 100 scores win NTD100, the target has to be first high school, etc. All the traditional concept and rules are gradually disappeared after 90’s. Strict disciplines took a huge part of childhood memories, but it proved the exist of Taiwanese education and indelible Taiwanese culture.

  Although time pushes us forward, but past culture and history are the follow-up of nowadays’ life. We wish through embroidery can present all Taiwanese culture in a joyful way. Build a bridge for different era’s people to communicate, and admire Taiwan in another way. Nostalgia is for confidence, innovation is for memory.
